Looking for Long Lasting All Season Tires for 2020 GLE450

Hello everyone. I am looking to replace all season tires for 2020 GLE450 in size 275/50R20.

Michelin Primacy Tour A/S are out of stock everywhere so the only option I have are the Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season (non run flats) but they are available in two different specs:

Option1: 275/50R20/XL with load index of 113 total price $2,000 plus tax

Option 2: 275/50R20 with load index of 109 total price $1,700 plus tax

Is there any benefit of going with option 1 in terms of longevity? Is OEM load index 109 or 113? Will appreciate any insights you may have?

I got 30k miles off first set of Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season. Just installed second exact set rated H version for $1600 from dealer that’s including wheel alignment. Ask your dealer they have specials going on. Last month they had buy 3 get one free deal.

I took advantage of that promo for new winter tires for next season. Each dealer sets their own prices so check all nearby dealers here:

GLE 450
Please take care, i did this on my wife's car and one month later she had an accident ........
All season tires have longer braking distance than summer tires, I also though this is sure not a problem, but it was on and a big one, it was a total damage.

Perhaps on dry pavement, but the summer performance tires with which I'm familiar do poorly on wet pavement and any other road surface.

Tire Rack shows they have them in stock. When we had a GLE 450 that was how I got them as no one local had stock. They shipped them to Dicount Tire and I was able to set the appointment up online with the tire purchase. If I recall I contacted Michelin and they referred me to Tire Rack.

Had the same great experience with Pirelli Scorpion Zero all season tires. 36,000 miles out of them and they were not at the wear bars yet. Great handling tires, not bad in rain, never drove in snow. I liked them so much, I did the same thing and bought them again.

Michelin Primacy had 35k and only the rear needed replacing (down to the wear bars passenger rear, driver almost to the bars). The fronts still had 6/32 at 35k miles

GLE 450
We put Michelin Cross Climate 2's on all three of our cars. Does an awesome job in snow, rain and dry weather. Was rated as #1 at one point with tirerack

Just my two cents
