2013 GLK350 not moving in drive
Hi everyone,
I have 2013 GLK350, and recently I noticed that the car does not move when in drive on flat surface and brake released. I had many cars and on every single one of them when you release the break pedal it starts to move. When car first started in the morning it will move in drive if is not on incline but not after it warms up. There are no other symptoms and everything else runs fine.
The transmission was serviced by Mercedes dealer 50k ago
Does anyone knows what can be an issue? It is really pain in the *** to change transmission fluid on this car so I would like some ideas of what can be a problem before I do all the transmission service and the problem stays the same.
Let me know what you guys think. I appreciate your answers..

If it's the same as my 2010, the car does not move until you touch the gas pedal. It's like an automatic hill hold function. Yesterday I tested mine on a slight incline with my boat attached. When I shifted into gear and let go of the brake, the car did not roll until I touched the gas pedal.

My 13 cold goes 8 mph for 30 seconds then two mph. Warm it runs 550 rpm and one mph. Check brakes, driveline, is differential fluid old?
clean intake . Is air filter old. I had a caliper stick and got it rebuilt .

Thanks for your ideas… breaks are definitely not the issue, I checked that by putting car in neutral on flat road and pushing it with hands. It rolls without any resistance.
Transmission fluid is 50 000km old so I don’t think it’s that.
I don’t know if differential fluid was ever replaced, I will definitely look into that.
I don’t think I have hold function or maybe I do, I will check tomorrow😁
Throttle body and air filter is also good idea, I never thought that it does not produce enough power on idle to move the car. I think I will check that first.

You won’t notice sticking brakes, don’t wash your wheels until they start to get real datk from brake dust and look if one wheel is alot darker.
better is get a cheap IR thermometer, if one wheel is hotter it’s sticking . I used visual (one wheel was like black, IR thermometer and thermal camera on iPhone
