CPS clip broke....oiling leaking somewhere

I'm trying to trace down an oil leak that seems to be slowly sweating downward on this pipe that enters the oil pan. The farthest I can see upward are these rubber hoses and there's oil there so something on the back of the motor is leaking. All 4 magnets and all four CPS are dry. The ecu pins are dry. The main wiring harness right before it enters the ECU appears damp with oil but once I removedthe tape, its extemely sticky and had no smell. think this is just a glue from the tape. Any other ideas where to look?

Also one of the CPS clips broke and the connector doesn't have enough tension to stay on the plug. It moves freely. I tried to zip tie but I can't get a good connection. Last resort is electrical tape but is it possible to swap out this connector?

Are the turbos dry?

I broke a clip and just used a dab of super glue to tighten it up and secure it ... has worked just fine

Turbos are dry. I saw a tiny drop of oil on the on the bottom section of the engine vacuum pump which is above those rubber jackets/hoses I posted above. Other then that, I cant see anything else.

is your pressure control valve intact?

i wonder if your vacuum pump is saturated with oil and is leaking from there

I checked this line the other day and it was dry. Aside from taking the vacuum pump out, where else should I be looking?

The best way to diagnose this will be to degrease the engine and all oil covered areas and watch for where the leak reappears. You will have your answer after a drive cycle or two.

Sooo I have the Freedom extended warranty and I could probably get the dealer on board to replace the whole pump since this check valve is not sold separately. However, since the valve is broken and the dealer could take a few weeks to see the car, can the car be driven without the diaphragm installed?

Meanwhile I ordered this one that comes tomorrow..

Found some oil on the top part of the vacuum pump. Has anyone had a leaking pump before?

Edit...that's not oil, doesn't come off with degreaser. That's glue that dripped down from the harness...harness is right over this spot

Do not drive without the diaphragm; just get a new valve/diaohragm as it's $30 on Amazon; I'm talking about the vacuum check valve on the drivers side firewall

If you're one of my Freedom Warranty customers I'd suggest taking the vehicle in sooner than later for proper repair...

Dealer is going to argue you broke the little plastic by looking at it... no way to know otherwise.

Replace your amazon 5mn part and save the warranty coverage for the $10k oil-in-harness + computer.
