2020 C43 Coming Off Warranty
I have a 2020 C43 with just under 25K miles. It’s paid off. am concerned of course retaining a vehicle that is complicated and expensive to repair. I am not interested in a 3rd party warranty.
I realize there will be many differing opinions whether to keep it or not.
I drive it about 5K miles per year.
I appreciate your opinions and guidance.

Nice car sir. I have a 2016 C450 with 97k miles. The car has needed nothing other than routine service and of course tires/brakes/plugs/filters. I plan on driving it another year or so until I can hopefully get a newer W206 C43. I would not be worried.

Thank you for your input. Repair costs especially these days are out of control based on parts and labor. It just has me worried.

The main problem with this car is the trash runflats and rims susceptible from cracking which is easily resolved by going aftermarket.
Just talking about maintenace wise, depending on your mileage tranny fluid might be due, differential fluid, sparkplugs, brake fluid is every 2 years, etc.

Here is what I posted last time, a general idea of what to expect. In the coming years. https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class...ml#post9003483

Great information. I really appreciate it. Yes run flats are horrible. Had them on the car for 8 months and swapped them out for Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 Plus which I love. Major improvement in ride. Filters except oil I do my self with OEM filters. Fluids at local independent.
You are lucky you have the improved dampening software from the facelift suspension, the pre-facelift ride quality is brutal.
Ride quality is the thing I hate the most about the car and on top of the 19s and runflats, aftermarket 18s with PS4s summers helped but still very poor ride quality, it is no C 300 ride quality in comfort I get it and expected that but the facelift which you have has much needed improvement to ride quality.

Depending on how long you wish to keep the vehicle, OP, you may consider the oil pump solenoid delete mod. More on it here https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...solenoids.html

Another vote for PS4 summer tires from me : ) transformed the car for me.

I understand the facelift ride quality is still bad but you need to drive a pre-facelift : ) the ride is brutal, the facelift improved so much. They use the same springs, I compared the part number but the software installed in the facelift is magical.

Actually, I realized I came up with the a list of things back then on what the improvements and differences the facelift had compared to the pre-facelift : https://mbworld.org/forums/c450-c43-...ml#post8858401

That is an easy solution, if you have DISTRONIC it likely uses the rear brakes, if you lose traction, it likes to use the rear brakes to bring the vehicle back in control.
You should use ESC Sport instead or you can turn it off altogether, I did the latter and the ESC is not really fully off even if turned completely off, as long as you know what you are doing and not driving like a maniac or driving in the rain, that is enough to keep the car stable. If you are not comfortable with off then stick with sport. It should help conserve the rear brakes.

I have the oldest of the W205 M276 models and have had very little issues. Just normal maintenance.
Also, how long have you had the car for? I see the offleaseonly plate which raises some concerns to me. They have a reputation for low prices but often sell ones with previous accidents, issues, etc. So much so, my bank even asked if i was getting a car from them before they would give a loan bc they have been burned by cars with issues that dont hold above the loan value.

5k miles a month? That is a lot of miles. Would definitly look at some kind of CPO warranty that covers additional years and unlimited miles.
