Can the 2023 EQS 450+ be charged at a Tesla supercharger when traveling? Is an adapt needed for that?

Not yet, but it can be charged at any number of others, including the new Mercedes/ChargePoint chargers appearing at many places around the country. There are multiple apps available which detail all the available chargers for CCS equipped vehicles, and lots of data on this forum if you use your search function.

Currently just some superchargers - those that are equipped with a 'Magic Dock' adaptor (which has a CCS plug built in). During the past year, I've charged my 2023 EQS 580 SUV at two of those - in Moab, Utah, and Forks, Washington. (You need to use the "Tesla" smartphone app, and your smartphone needs to have connectivity to the Internet (which was a bit problematic in Forks, WA).)

Just want to say how disappointing it is that MB can't use the Tesla superchargers yet. GM just announced that their cars can. Ford cars can. Rivian can. MB was supposed to have its own charging network. Hasn't happened. If they don't get on the ball this will be the last MB electric I will buy.

I don't need anyone's permission to use a CCS adapter on a NACS equipped vehicle. So why wouldn't Mercedes want to future-proof the EQG like Hyundai was smart enough to do with the Ioniq 5 XRT? 150 grand and it's obsolete before it even hits the showroom floor. D'oh!

I can wait for Supercharger access. I want the port NOW though.
