I want to start a thread pertaining to the 2026 E53 AMG for users to provide feedback on orders, build dates and actually deliveries.

I have a 26 E53EW4 on order since Mid May with a build date of 07/21. I am curious as to what the prices are going to look like for 26 models along with shipping dates. Here is what I have ordered for options:

• AMG Dynamic Plus Package
• AMG Night Package Plus
• 21" Wheels
• Pinnacle Trim
• Multi Contour Seating w/ red seat belts
• Sun Protection package since I am in FL
• Silver Fabric Trim & Console
• AMG Fuel cap
• All season floor mats

Color is cirrus silver with black leather.

I will be coming out of a 2025 CLE 53 AMG and super excited to get this new car.

 

I ordered an E53 Wagon in the US last month. Have an 8/25 build date assigned. Still no pricing…..

 

"out" meaning selling/returning CLE? it is relatively new - any reason you don't want to keep it?

 

I will be selling or trading it. Love the car just need a 4 door for the kids.

 

The new car is built and has been shipped. It arrived in Jacksonville and now waiting for it to be delivered to my dealer.

 

I also have an order in. E53ES4 wagon.

Prod should be complete at start of August.

Re pricing: from another thread seems like there are lease deals with MSRP on the MBUSA website. Check the special offers section. Asked my dealer but he’s off these few days so will loop back with updates.

 

Has anyone taken delivery of a 26 E53 sedan yet? Mine has been built, shipped and been sitting at the port in Jacksonville for the last 3 weeks.

 

The great E53 mystery. The E53 wagon I ordered months ago arrives in Baltimore today - will let you know if it clears the port and makes its way to the dealer. In the meantime all E53 references have vanished from the MB web page and there is no pricing information available (other than some lease specials).

 

The wagon is still in the Futures section.

 

I am just champing at the bit because I have a deposit down but can't (won't) make my build because my MB dealer won't make a build unless I firmly commit. Can't (won't) commit until I see actual pricing...

If I put the build in and the base pricing jumps to say $125k, then either I pay their new price or I lose my $5k. I understand what the leasing says about the MSRP, but still...I am not signing on the dotted line until the contract is clearly written.

 

I am curious to see how long it takes to receive your vehicle. My dealer keeps requesting my car from the port but the port keeps telling my dealer it has not been released by MB yet......strange. I am wondaming if it is a tariff thing or MB is doing some sort of release date.

 

my dealer was $1k refundable to order with agreed discount on msrp. Sounds like you may want another more flexible dealer.

 

One way to know if it's a model specific release issue or tariffs is to ask if other new cars are being released. If tariffs are the reason, it would impact all cars and not just the 2026 E53.

 

yeah but that’s pretty stale now. And nothing in the hybrid vehicle section and no mention of the sedan. Weird.

 

This is a bit confusing. I thought the deposit was only put down if you are making a firm commitment. Otherwise, why give them any money.

 

Hmmm...both the MB dealerships around here said $5k refundable deposit. Maybe I have to call around and see if they are willing to make a deal ahead of time with a certain percentage off the MSRP...

I put the refundable deposit down to show I was serious about the purchase and to put my name in the list of persons wanting a build. At the dealership closest to my home (the one I have the deposit with), there are 2 persons in front of me. The other dealership in my city has no one on their list. Are dealerships allotted only a certain number of allocations?

At this point, I can just wait for pricing since it seems imminent...

 

Have you purchased other cars from this dealer previously?

 

How much does pervious purchases count? probably a lot more than first time buyer...

For me no deposit but also no pricing, inquired the day it was announced it will be launched in the US for the wagon.

Car is now on ship ETA to port of Baltimore Sept 6th, seems like it is Apollon Highway.

My car has an invoice and MSRP now that it is built and shipped. It did not have pricing when the order was submitted. I can tell you that based on the 2025 configuration, the 2026 seems to have gone up 3%. I know that is not a big help but hopefully it provides some direction for those pondering on placing an order.

 

lol mine is on the Horizon Highway also headed to Baltimore and then to Westchester County. It’s a race.

 

Hey W222S...were you able to build it exactly how you wanted it with no deposit? Did you sign a contract promising that you would actually buy it when it arrived?

 

Nope, they just ordered as I wanted and I did not sign any documents obliging myself to purchase.

Have bought from this dealership before though and have a good relationship.

 

Could be either…could also be held up for 2026 emissions testing/compliance. Mine should be unloaded tomorrow in Los Angeles.
