Any coding the 2026 W214 yet?

Hello

Just got my hands on a 2026 W214 E300.
I’m looking to do some light DIY coding, nothing crazy—just the blinker flashes (3 to 5) and some Digital Light animations.

Review existing guides... many great "VARIANT menu" options in various modules...:
  • Front-SAM: Pwr mgr
  • AirCon: AC Module
  • Cluster: Display
  • Rear-SAM

Chances are F'...ups are not covered by any warranty, right?

Thanks for the tips!
Quick follow-up: Do you know if DTS Monaco 9 (specifically 9.02) is compatible with the W214?

You may have concerns with unlocking the security gateway... a launch scanner should be able to help you login to edit your variants.

Yeah, I’ve heard the security on the W214 is a whole different ballgame compared to the older models.

Is there a specific launch model actually supports the 2026 W214?

I’ve reached out to several sellers, but most of them seem clueless or just straight-up say it won't work on the W214 yet because it's too new.

I could volunteer to say something that may not check out with your W214... Go ahead buy the 2026 model to try it out.

I believe you will need to buy a 3rd party security access token required by MB to enable scanner access.

In essence this new security authenticates WHO you are to help prevent stolen cars. This is not made to stop honest ppl.

If @EleBest can not code what you want, no other tool ( especially the chinese ones) will help you in any way. The Chinese tools use ( barely) only a Diag Certificate for reading fault codes and some Actual Values.

Possible to do coding yourself, just trickier for the car to function properly afterwards
