Hi folks

I am trying to source the following part, as my centre air vent has failed. Can anyone get hold of this?

yeh, I tried but I couldn't find one 'Worldwide' even. Must admit I often look on ebay for Merc bits and I don't think I've seen one before.

How do you guys in the US source your parts, do you get them new, or do you have yards that break SL's anywhere?

air comes from all the vents but not the centre vents. The buttons all seem to work, although they are now a bit irregular since it was inspected... the air con works, hot and cold, just no flow through the centre...

You can gently lever off the strip below the vent which will expose screws to remove it. It may cost alot, but it's not very complex and you may be able to spot what's wrong.

thanks blue, i think i'll take a day off and have a look. it's the controller that seems to be the problem, but I'll check the vent as well.
