I have run against my friends 04 sl55. We pretty much run neck and neck. The only difference I notice is that my power seems to be kicking in before his does. For example: Every time we've raced it seems my car pulls forward down low (rpm's)and his pulls harder up high. I beat him by half a car's length to 60MPH, tie at 80-85, and he starts pulling ahead close to 100-105. We usually call it quits at around 130 where he is a full car length ahead.
I am very happy with the results, but most importantly the fact that I have had no issues with the system.
I kind of feel bad for a few guys whos posts I've read recently. They seem to have so many issues with their systems whereas I've had none and its almost been a full year with over 5000 miles driven. Go figure, I guess I got lucky

... post some pictures of your S/C motor.......
... I see you have an SL 55 brake too...... I also see on the driver side part of the engine, you have a bottle of coolant...... so now are you running 2 bottle of coolant.......??

That new bottle on the right is for the supercharger's intercooler system.
And yeah, I got the AMG brake upgrade as well (six piston front, 4 piston rear). I figured thers no point in going this fast if you cant stop the dam thing.
