2000 Sl Trunk

Hi, Does anyone know the name or part number of the storage cover for the windscreen when you place it in your trunk. Mine is missing. Is it a dealer only item or does someone have one they could part with? I know it is an obscure item but I don't want to damage the windscreen when I place items in the trunk. Any help is appreciated Thank you......

What color do you need?
I may have a spare grey one, but I never use mine, just keep the baffle on the roll bar where it is safe, out of the way, and always available.

I'll have to look around to see if I can find it. Will let you know via a forum post when I do.

Sorry it took so long, but I finally got the time to search for the cover, and I no longer have it despite what my failing memory recalled.
I can't even find the one for my current car! So it looks like you have the right idea of keeping the cover stored in the trunk of the car, but that takes up space and subjects it to damage.

How do you figure it takes up space? it's less tha 2 inches. I have my amp in that spot, and when I put my hard top on the screen goes there and the cover also protecting the screen and keeping the amp out of site.

2" X the width X the height = space.

If you could see how much we put into the trunk, you might understand the criticality of 2" (something often pointed out by former female companions).
We have gone on many two week trips, using two airline roll-ons, a garment bag, miscellaneous tote bags, and other small items, then buying "impulse" purchases which have to be stashed somewhere out of sight.

It changes all the time
I just leave my wind screen in place even with hard top. I took the cover ouy of the trunk, because I feel you need all the room you can get with a roadster.
