v12 cylinder numbering

I tried searching and couldn't come up with the answer.

Does anyone know the numbering order for the cylinders? I'm trying to track down the suspected cylinders that are throwing misfire codes.

Thanks!

1-6 on R/S of engine, 7-12 on L/S. (Sides of an engine are always viewed from power output end.)

Sorry, I didn't quite understand which end is the power output end. Is it when you're facing the engine from the front with cyl 1 being on the right side closest to you?

Ok. Then, cyl 1 basically will be closest to the passenger seat?
