300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
If it is eating cats at the rate of every 20k miles

something is amiss in the engine. Have a compression test performed and a leak down test.
Bad valves, poor combustion, excessive oil use are sure cat killers.
Any Check engine codes?
$575 CARB approved stainless whole unit ea.

Have the replacements been MB branded or after-market?

I haven't heard much good about after-market cats; sorry they didn't work out for you either. Mine have just started the infamous 'death rattle' and I have to solve this problem too.

If you eliminate the cats in your new config, what, if anything, do you do with the existing 02 sensors?

BAD CATS

Bob, as I understand it, the o2 sensors will plug into the new exhaust and the dwnload does the rest. Still discussing with the techs.....Will let you know. Thanks.
