Key with transmitter
when I asked for another key it was ID verification with codes ( they looked at the car) and money, all at the a dealer. 1994 SL600. don't know about 98.

'98 SL500 R129
Hi -
I have a '98 SL500. I ordered a new key w/remote from the dealer. I took about 2 days to come in. When I picked it up, they sync'd it up for free. It took about 5 minutes. The cost was $200.
