1995s have both - OBDII under the steering wheel and 38 pin in the engine compartment.

You can't miss it really. Get a flashlight and a mirror. It may have a cover on it, may not. It's more than likely towards the left side, close to parking/foot brake.

It looks like clogged EGR pipe can cause that code, and is a common problem on that engine. Detach both ends of the pipe and clean it out with a wire or speedo cable.

Pls do, my dad just picked up a 95 SL500 and I figured only 96 and up were OBD II. Thanks!

A 95 SL500 was just OBDI. Only the 320s got it early.
