'94 Sl500 Bosch LH motronic tuning!!

Been doing research on how to tune my bosch LH motronic instead of buying a fairly expensive megasquirt that has sequential fuel injection. It seems like it is possible and from what I have gathered I need Ostrich 2.0 E-prom emulator, tunerpro software http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm, and an eprom programmer (I dont know if these are any good, but Ive read a few people using them with some success, Universal Willem EPROM programmer PCB5.0).

Does anyone on here have any experience trying to tune their bosch ECU??? Megasquirt with sequential fuel injection is 1.4k plus the harness, $50..then of course installing the actual ECU which i would loathe to do, would much rather keep the stock ECU for simplistic sake.

P.s. - I do this to alot of other cars people deem useless to tune, this is a hobby and I like tinkering with this kind of stuff, plus i may want to put a procharger or turbo charger on it someday

Bosch LH is not a "Motronic" system: it is fuel injection only.

Also finding no information on what version my 94 sl500 has. Anytime i look up bosch LH i only get the jetronic and motronic versions. And the motronic sounds identical to the system my car uses...it has sequential fuel injection, 2 coils controlled by an ignition ecu, and the ignition ecu looks exactly like the motronic, it was used the same year as my car, i know the motronic was used on bmw and thats all i found on the internet. There has got to be more information on what type of bosch LH system my car uses..i need to be able to tune this car or at least get some i formation on it to be able to tune it

Since you have separate control of the ignition and the fuel injection, then your system is Jetronic. Motronic has a single controller managing fuel and ignition.

So then is it possible to tune through an eprom programmer? It would be nice to tune this car as I want to do a few simple mods likes headers, comp. raise, and maybe some camshaft regrinding..but obviously without the ability to tune the car that is a waste of time

I replaced the ECU chip. No significant power gain but the top speed limit was removed, the redline rpm limit is higher, car runs more smoothly.
