I don't believe a component associated with ADS could be the cause of the noisy suspension. A bushing in one of the links or control arms could be, however.

talk about ADS cause is common in the w140 and w124 with self leveling suspensión start to make major noise the stuts itself and need to be replaced. Anyone with the same in the 129s with self leveling in the rear or ads?

the car was very confortable and soft. But horrible noisy rear suspension at irregular pavment

thanks in advance

There are no struts in the rear of any R129. There are shock absorbers, and they are similar to a standard shock except there is a hose attached which connects the shock to an external vessel (nitrogen sphere) which acts as an air spring.

I've never known a shock absorber to make a sound of any kind.

The lower joint of the shock absorber can creak when there are bumps on he road. Very annoying, i replaced both.

Thanks my friend! Thats what im thinking about. The noise comes from the shock absorbers. I have the car in the shop changing water pump, belt, repair the soft top leak and this noise. Pretty sure the noise are related to the shocks. You find the lower joints separatly? Or just replace the whole shock

thanks in advance

I did not found one, but here, the cost of one shock absorber surprisely is not as expensive as expected, something around 300 Euro.
