? on LARGEST DEALER IN FLORIDA
Does anyone know who the largest dealer(s) are in the state of Florida. I want to buy another SL and looking for someone who may be able to get an allocation quick for an 06.

Whoa! they had a CLK DTM!? I was there a week ago, they had a S65 with a 60 or 70k dealer addendum on it! They also were once selling a SLR for like 1.2million! hahaha! When i was buying my C55, i went to there to look, they had a base C55 with no xenons or nav marked up 25k! i got mine with xenons nav etc.. for sticker.

I think it was the one in Chicago but they would have it enclosed transport... get this FREE OF CHARGE! Some people did pay a million for their SLR's I truly feel bad for them.

Oh yeah, i saw those pics of that car in Chicago. LMAO that is just plain funny they would ship it for free. A savings of $1,200 is just funny on a 300k + car selling for 500k! LOL! The sad part is, there are people out there that would do it.

SL65 AMG
It's all about negotiation. I bought my SL65AMG from Autohaus Pompano and paid sticker. At the time I did my deal they had a USED (1.5K miles) SL65AMG with some sorry aftermarket wheels and some tacky interior mods in the showroom marked up $50K over sticker. New SL65AMGs were all "spoken for" or "unavailable".
The price (and additional dealer markup) displayed in the showroom, and the first quote by the sales rep is just that...the first quote. Get out your checkbook and make an offer. They will sell their cars at "market" otherwise they would not be the highest volume dealer in FL.

Stephen, if you will PM me,
I know a couple of small market dealers that might be able to help you. The FL stores are probably going to be a bit tougher, as they have customers that actually can buy those cars. Small market dealers are hungrier. Hit me up, I'll help you.

Try Bill Ussery MB in Coral Gables: Rick Vega @ 305.460.6455. I was told they are doing between 250-300 new car sales per month. That level of volume should get them some sort of preference.

Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale and ask for John Bradley. MB of FLL is one of the largest in the country along with MB of Miami. Both are AutoNation companies.

Try Ft. Lauderdale MB...
I went to Pompano and found the place to be teaming with real slimey car salesmen. Yeech. Also, the inside warehouse showroom had many cars that clearly had body and paintwork but the salesmen denied it. Not a good sign. Also, they were bragging about how they charge way over list for the most desireable MB's and people are glad to pay it! Yea, sure. I left after that. I felt I had wasted my time there.
I ultimately ended up at Ft. Lauderdale MB. They were surprisingly sincere and had a very good inventory of high end cars. There service has turned out to be very good and responsible. They always have had a loaner MB available. That's my experience in SE Florida.
Good luck.

Whatcha looking for, 500, 600, or 55? Have you tried MB of Tampa?
**EDIT** Sorry Stephen, just saw the date of your original post. At first I thought you were looking for ANOTHER new SL.
It's late.

I have a 04 Sl600 with about 3500 miles and I can tell you it is an incredible car. Tremendous performance, beautifuly done interiors, and the top goes down if you want it to. This is a car that is underestimated by a lot of people. Those of us that have one know the truth!!

Not too impressed with Brumos Service and dealer experience thus far, just my two cents....
