SL600 or SL55, which car is quicker from around 75mph to 150mph? Thanks!

Defintely the 600. More HP and twin turbos, there's no replacement for displacement!!!!

True! But since the SL55 is 5439 cc and the SL600 is 5513 cc, we're only talking a difference of 1.3%.

Add into the displacement the boost level of each car and you have a wider gap. V-12=1.0bar while V-8=0.8bar. Turbo also produces more net power in upper RPM ranges while supercharger is declining due to friction, pumping losses and heat which makes it easier to modify when you get tired of 500HP.

I've owned an 03 SL55 and an 04 600. The 600 is somewhat quicker stock and massively so with Renntech's software.
