What are the stock spec for the SL500 and what would be the expected power from a chip and supercharger?

RENNtech says you can get 141hp and 107lb-ft torque from their low boost supercharger.
Kleemann claims 200hp and 159lb-ft torque increase from their supercharger.

You can get the RENNtech products from neal@euroteckmotorsports.com and the Kleemann products from sales@evosport.com

No just kidding. It's 302hp and 339lb-ft torque.

I'm kinda torn between Rice and UT. I want Rice because of their connection to LSE, but at the same time if I go to UT, I can help expand my dads buisness north.

I don't mind LS430's. I just don't care to own another one. They are OK for passengers, but a bit boring to drive. I think either UT or Rice would be a good choice.

The more I listen to my friends, the more I want to go to UT because we'll have a tight knit group there.

However, I don't think I'll have enough room to have a car, so that might put a halt on my driving.. :x

what is the stock 1/4 mile times for a sl500 without any mods. Should it beat a s55?

I'm not sure, but I would bet the S55 would beat the SL 500 pretty good in the 1/4 mile.

Motorweek tested a 2003 SL500 and the quarter mile results were
14.7 @ 97 MPH. That is considerably slower than an S55. Check their website, they have a lot of road tests for various MB models.
