God damn Jack! ... You always shock me with your amazing pictures, especially the ones with landscape ( mountains and clouds in the background). They look so unreal, like from some dreams, or computer made...just too perfect hah ... I have a lot of your pictures from S and GL class too.
Just keep on great shooting....

Velvet Fog image
With his permission I reworked one of his images. A really nice shot of his car in motion.

Thanks, NJ, you fixed those up real nice. I like the bottom pic best. My buddy calls that "the magazine shot".

Nice, NJ! I feel like I'm playing a game of "what's missing from this picture"! I noticed you cropped out the inside door in both. But, then I noticed the missing street sign and the missing SUV! I bet there's more, if I looked harder.
I need to learn how to photoshop stuff out of pic (and blend). Actually, I bet my wife would love to be able to do that with our wedding pics!

I use the cloning tool for most of that kind of stuff. It is quite easy to use and only takes some practice to get it to work well. A secret is to zoom in on the image so that it is much easier to clone the area you want to get rid of.

Ah the ocean... I almost can remember that...:-)
It is not quite cool enough yet to run with the top down in the daytime here, temp about 105 or so. Looks very inviting...:-)

Jack you take great pic's. Just wondering since you live in Vegas, why did you buy a black SL? I would of thought white would be better for that environment? I bought white this time, my 2003 was black. Just wondering is it really hot with that strong sun and 110 degree temps in the summer?

I have not had the car waxed yet except for the initial one by the dealer. In fact, I didn't get around to washing it last week so I took the Cal Duster this AM and gave it a quick dusting. If you don't get close and have some strong light on the surface, the dirt really doesn't show in the images.
Enjoy LV... all the casinos want to know "what's in your wallet"...:-)

My new 2008 SL 550 after tint and wheels!
What do you think of these pics? I know these aren't as good as those by Nevada Jack, but it's my first attempt. I just had the wheels put on yesterday after waiting a month to have them made. It was worth the wait!

Pics look great! Nice job. The wheels look fantastic and really compliment the silver color. They look like 20's or so. A great looking SL for sure!

Thanks. They are 20's. Chrome lip is 2.5" front and 4.5" rear! I was very suprised when I first saw them in person. I thought someone had taken them off a Lambo. The original ones were nice, but not this nice! The tint was necessary as it was about 105 here today in the desert. I don't care. I had the top down all day!
