Just painted my grill Mars Red, along with smoking the side marker lights, signal lights on the rear view mirrors and taillights, and red wheel edge protectors. All I need now is a light window tint and I'll be good to go!!!!!!!

I didn't think I would like the body color grill, but it looks good!
Well, as you say, anyone who know about SLs would know right away. Anyone else has no idea what any of it means! Another option is to de-badge completely.
I used to have an Overfinch Range Rover 570ti. 99% of the world thought it was 'just' another RR. The head of MTV Europe at the time had an Overfinch Discovery 570ti and had it badged as a turbo diesel, so that he could 'surprise' BMW M5s on the autobahn.
I fitted, as you'll see, a Hong Kong import refreshed 2009 grill.
No other plans currently, except fitting the iRadar sensor behind the grill tomorrow.
Thanks, we just got it back from the body shop, fixed the normal frontend rash, added a spoiler, so it's back to 100%. I was reading some posts about replacing the intercooler pump, as the car is fast on the top end, but not like it should be off the line. My E550 will outrun it on the bottom end right now, I think. The SL600 is finished very nicely and a pleasure to drive.
If you want to upgrade anything first get an LSD from Quaife. Then get a ECU/TCU flash. These are easy and will change the car for the better. How far you go after that is up to you. Also get some Michelin Super sports put on when the tires are due.
