Don't

Don't waste your money.

With the capability to burn DVD's that will hold an incredible amount of songs on them and the ability to organize them into folders, etc... you can accomplish your own commercial free radio, without any of the dead spots, and other downsides to the Satelite Radio, not to mention the smaller but still ugly trunk antenna.

Just my $.02.

I did. The dealer can install the hidden antenna. I love Sirius. It does have some limitations, but I rather deal with Sirius than keep up with an Ipod. I lost 6 Ipods this year.

By the way, the $979 is cheap. I think I paid around $1,200.

With all deference to Mr. Stephen, IMHO, Sirius Radio is on the top of my option list. I've had the Mercedes package since September 2003, and I absolutely would not have a vehicle without it. With it seamlessly integrated into the MB Comand center, it is marvelous. You need to experience it, to really appreciate it.

Heard

I have just heard a lot of people say they are dispappointed with it. I have heard complaints about sound quality and also dead spots. I personally have not used it, so just going off of what I have been told.

I had the SIRIUS installed and thought it was great. That is all I ever listened to.

There are some dead spots but that comes from trees blocking the signal. They were few and far between and totally not a problem, of course IMHO.

If Sirius was that bad, I would be complaining about it like I do with my car.
