SL 500
Question Lob sided at the front....

My (new to me) 03 SL has sat for a couple of weeks while I've been away on work, at the left front has settled down nearly an inch lower than the right. Is this just air suspension, and nothing to worry about, or do I have a problem here?

There are pneumatic lines or whatever they call them these days at or around each of the wheels that raise and lower the car suspension. This can be normal or it can be a leak.

Your local MB dealer should be able to sort out with no problem

did you try starting it up and moving it? It should settle out after driving it.. this is common when not driven around in these cars due to the suspension..

My dads car is like that right now since he's driving my car (I've been grounded since Christmas due to a speeding ticket )

I'll take a picture of it if I can get my butt downstairs. I think it looks kinda VIP but the 17" rims don't help at all.

Kids don't speed
I got a 92 in a 45 on December 25th.

I know it's dirty and what not, it hasn't been moved in more than a week. Anyways it's happened before and I wouldn't really worry about it. Anyone think it's serious?

Oddly enough I'm glad I wasn't in the X5.
First day school got out for winter break my tranmission blew up or something. I was in moms LS430. The LS430 doesn't feel stable beyond 100mph. The X5 feels like a rock until it gets weak at 140mph.

Designed for the autobahn.. only explanation I have for it.
