Lowered, Exhaust, Steering wheel etc..pix 56k Beware!
Lowered my car yesterday using the Lorinser "module" which is the link method. Not sure why Lorinser calls it a module but whos to question a German engineering?!
I added the amg sport package about 6 months ago just been to lazy to take any pix. Other mods are changing the wood to the black, SL 55 exhaust, Alacantra steering wheel/shift knob, AMG door sills. I also have the new style Sl55 third brake light , sirius kit , and phone kit. I am sure after I add the other pieces I'll sell it.

really? i think your rims look perfect on your car. i like that kinda brushed finish on silver cars. it looks so sleak and makes that subtle statement. are you running 19" or 20" on yours?

Very sharp looking car!
Did you replace both the factory mufflers and tips or just the tips? Also, I did notice the SL55 tailights but what is different with the 3rd brake light?
And finally do the wheel rub at all? I have a SL550 w-sport pkg and would be interested in possibly lowering the vehicle.
Thanks in advance

I replaced just the mufflers, the sound is awesome. I had a 55 for a couple of days and my car sounds much better. Cost on the mufflers is around $900 or so...
I have the new clear 55 third brakelight, just havent had a chance to install it.
No rubbing at all.. The lowering kit is $400 wholesale..

Hi
Why is it that a lot of you guy´s are running more narrow wheels in front, than stock. I have with no problem fitted 275 up front.

Lorinserbenz, thanks! that's a really good price. what brand mufflers did you get? can you give me some specs? That AMG rear bumper must have not been cheap though. good job!

I bought the front and rear bumpers from a guy locally that had a 55 and put a Lorinser kit on. I paid $1000 for both and the best part is they were already silver!

i agree. great car. it's all there.
by the way, what's involved with changing the wood color? price and can we do it ourselves or is it better to take it to a place?
