Please reply if you currently have an 07 SL550, with AMG Sport, Prem II Package (see my configuration on signature line). I need your help by checking whether your 07 SL550 has the Park/Assist feature (when yout put the car in "reverse" does the passenger side mirror point toward the curb)?

Production date would also be helpful too.

Thanks for checking for Park/Assist (my new car is missing this feature).

isn't there an option to turn that on and off when you flip through the menus on your steering wheel? i'm not sure about the '07 but my '04 has that in the menus. maybe they didn't make that function for the '07's?

If you want it on...you keep either the left or right mirror button clicked down (on the center console)...and the other side for it to be off

Sorry to jack the thread. I have a problem with this feature, with the button clicked, my passenger mirror will tilt; however, if I clicked on the driver-side button, nothing will happen. Do I have to preset something?

elbowyeish,
Meegle and Itskirb both have this feature on their 07 SL550s (they responded to a previous thread) by just depressing the passenger side console button. My 07 will not work this way and the feature is not on my steering wheel choices to turn "off/on". I'm just trying to check if others with my "configuration" ---AMG Sport and Prem II are missing this feature. I want to go back to the dealer if I can find someone who has it with my same configuration........

p.s. Sgooter....thanks again for your help

What's weird about mine is that it will tilt down in reverse, but "Sometimes" won't tilt back up when you shift to Drive. I have to press the Seat Memory button to put the mirror back.

Mine doesn't tilt back up in drive either. I have to give it some throttle in order for the mirror to tilt back up.
