SL/R230: For Sale: 2005 SL600 Sport with Renntech ECU/TCU
After much internal debate, I've decided to sell my SL600. I have not listed it anywhere else yet.
Details:
1.) 2005 Pewter/Charcol SL600 with AMG Sport Package (AMG front and rear bumbers and steering wheel paddle shifters). 8,3xx miles as of today. Warranty start date 3/25/05 and end date 3/24/2009
2.) Roadblock clear bra on front bumper/upper hood and right/left mirrors.
3.) Valugard exterior paint sealant and interior leather protector.
4.) Renntech ECU and TCU upgrade. 625 HP & 745 lb-ft torque!
5.) Rear rotors replaced with cross drilled SL55 rotors.
6.) New chrome 19" AMG replica wheels with new Yokahoma Advan Sport tires (255/35 front and 285/30 rear).
7.) Daily driver, garage kept, and washed regularly.
My car is in excellent condition. Pictures are up under the pictures thread. I can't post any pictures now because the function is deactivated for some reason. Make an offer either here or send me a PM if you wish. Thanks.

I agree with you believe me!!! I love the SL600 but I feel that I'm not really going down with a 65. You are right about the winter in South Florida. It is great for convertibles. I rarely used my convertible this summer because it was just too hot!! I don't know if I'm doing the right thing thus my original statement in my first post saying "After much internal debatel....." If I could keep both cars then I would do so but my new kid actually may need to go to college some day and I would like to be able to afford it.
By the way, my wife walked in as I was reading your post and she wants it to be crystal clear that she is not making me get rid of the car. Ok I have satisfied her (pregnant women can be very unstable if you know what I mean
).

I never should have sold my SL600. But then again, I didn't know my brand new shinny Vanquish S would never run properly.
Your reasons are better than mine though. Family is always first. There is time for more cars. Trust me, it is not easy to be responsible. lol
.
I cant have children.... (really somber)
They are allways like... oh! Im sorry..
Then I answer... yea... they dont fit in my car.
(smile)
If you list what you want from it. You might be able to sale it here on mbworld.com.

- I so admire the fact that u are concerned about your addition to the family, I wish I could find a worthy women!

- But is the cl the family auto? I am curious what does your wife drive? I do not have kids but maybe its workable with the right second vehicle. I think you are sedated by the 65 monicker. Anyway i hope u make the best decision for u and have no regrets. Paul

It is doing very well and very complicated. All aspects of the project are being worked on and should be ready in about 10 months. It got so complicated I had to hire a professional to put it all together.
Good luck with your decision.

This is a solid responsible position to take. Do it and don't look back!
