For the turbo charged 65 engine and the supercharged 55 engine, yes its better to get the packages.

Okay so for us 500 class its not worth getting a ECU or anything done?? Thats what Im guessing your saying?

For natural aspirated engines, an ECU upgrade will not help significantly in terms of performance. It might help with throttle response and removing speed limitor but basically if you want more in performance in terms of hp and torque, a supercharger kit is the only way to go. (which of course can be pricey.)
