Hey has anyone ever tried to take there stock headers off there SL? I was looking at it and it seems like its a B*tch to do. I was thinking of upgrading the exhaust manifolds to performance ones and doing it myself.

Does anyone have aftermarket headers and is it even worth the money to do it?

hahaha.... Im putting the wheels at a stand still for a while after pondering for the longest time for style or power. Im thinking of keeping the stock look for now but going to tweek the motor as much as possible. I really want to force induct the car either turbo or supercharger but dont know if I want to go through the same hassle like I did with the M3 I have. So Im just looking for little mod's that will help me increase the power and torque a bit more without going major.

lol....yeah I know. I just cant decide what I want to do. I have a M3 that I have been working on and turbo charging as well but its so much of a headache and I dont know if I really want to do it to the SL so thats why I was pushing more towards styling but Im a power hog and really want to add more power with less of a headache! I should have gotten a SL55. But whats done is done. Plus it being end of the year I got alot of stuff on my platter I need to work on work related so by next year Ill be ahead of you in the chess game!
