I dont know any other way to say it except for there is no comparison, I have 2 E55's and since I got the SL 600 I refuse to drive them as they feel like a civic if I first drove the SL. (sorry civic owners)

I used to drive around in my E55 thinking I was the man, and when I got the Sl I realized I didnt have a clue!!!

Just my opinion, but take them for a test drive and you be the judge..
Good Luck

Will find no one to race with if one owns a 450K SL55 in Thailand. A SLR must be at least 1.2 million USD there.

Own both. Two different animals as we all know. If you just want to enjoy the ride and drive forever the the SL is the choice. With the E you're always on edge looking for a chance to step on the gas for a short while for the thrill of the speed and acceleration. If you don't need a 4 door then it's hands down for the SL without a doubt.
