New SL 550 Owner - What Wheels Should I Buy??
I just bought a black on black SL 550. I Am planning on lowering the car and putting on 20 inch wheels.
Any reccomendations on which wheel would look the best?? I want to do a black wheel with a chrome lip. I have attached a pic of the wheels I am thinking of. They are i forged wheels.
Also, what reccomendations would you guys have on what size tires to run. I was told 245/35/20 by 9 in the front and 285/30/20 x 10.5 in the rear.
I was considering using the Renntech lowering module.

2003 SL500 2005 G55
I have a 2003 Sl500 black on black with the renntech lowering module and i have the 20 inch Diablo lionharts on it. The best rims I have ever had and I have had the car for 4 years and had different wheels but so far the diablos are the best and they are inexpensive too. I heard that mayas and lowenharts bend easy I dont know for a fact though, but you can pay $6000 for lowenharts when you can get the diablos for $2500.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
I know they're 19's, but...
the 5 spoke AMG wheel from the 55 looks excellent, if the car is at the proper ride height. Compared to many of the others, they're also very reasonably priced.

my renntech wheels monolite are 4 sale .....2 9x 20 " with new michelin 255-zr20"
2 10.5 x20" with almost new michelin 285 zr20"
all tires are load rated xl
front rims were just redone by renntech and the backs have some very very small curbing marks wheels are diamond cut finish
