SL500 dyno done
Just ran my 05 SL500 on a Dyno Dynamics. Pulled out the following:
Max rwhp: 242.7 hp
Max rwtq: 250 ish
Scans of run and pictures to be posted shorted. Only mods on this car are Eisenmann Sport Performance exhaust and a set of HRE 540rs in 19".
Would love to see some other numbers from R230 SL500 owners!

Forgot to mention: Pulls were done in 4th gear (auto-stick used), with the dyno mode enabled.
Interesting points: First run on the dyno, the car almost came off the dyno!
Tech there mentioned that they had to weigh it down (?) as it was producing too much tq?
Also, using the auto-stick in 3rd, it would downshift to 2nd by itself.
Anyone have any numbers to compare with?

Interesting...
So, given the 18% drivetrain loss (I think that's what it is) your getting 286HP/295TQ at the crank. That's a bit lower than the 302/337 that MB rates the 500 engine at.
Did the shop give you SAE corrected numbers? If so, what were they?
**EDIT**
Looks like Vadim is saying that these cars should dyno at 245-255 at the wheels, so I guess the drive train zaps more than 18%
