I doubt it will be standard in the C-Class. The new ipod interface is much more advanced than it has been in the past, it can control more devices and will finally integrate with the COMAND system. I was told about this when I toured the VPC in Baltimore, MD with the MB Club over the summer.

The new C-class offers an iPod integration kit as an option. Even without the option, the new C has an AUX port that allows connection of any mp3 player.
If MB does not offer iPod integration in their all-new models, it is evidence that the engineers and marketing people have been living under a rock for the past few years.

They SHOULD jump the gun and make their ipod kit capable of
playing movies from it on the nav screen. Otherwise it will be
another obsolete option, like the V60 carphone of the early
2000's.

I know what is currently offered, however the future ipod hookup will be far more advanced than the current system. Right now the songs only display on the spedometer display. The future system will show up on the COMAND screen. I don't blame them if it's not standard, obviously it will be an option, but they can't make all this stuf standard or it will add cost...then you have people ***** about the price of the car. I personally, as many on here would probably agree, would much rather just have all this stuff standard rather than have Mercedes driving around without Xenon lights and stuff like that. I just recently learned that MB Canada made bi-xenons standard on all new C-Class.

Here is the description from the mbusa website... it sounds pretty good to me (but then again my SL has neither iPod integration nor an AUX port).
2008 Options
iPod Integration Kit
Taking your personal music collection with you wherever you go has never been easier. Mercedes-Benz now offers seamless integration of your iPod into the audio system of your C-Class.
With an interface that is compatible with any dock-connector equipped iPod device, your iPod charges while it is playing. Steering-wheel controls and a visual display of the track information make your iPod a perfect fit with your Mercedes-Benz — and helps you keep your attention focused on the road.

Ohh woops, I have my years screwed up. I'm still thinking 2008 is next model year, but we're already there. Just to clarify, the guy at the VPC tour told us that next year MB will introduce a new interface.
