Where can I get this "small" part?

I need the little plastic cover...kind of triangular plastic...that lifts up so that you can insert the Auxilliary Cup Holder in my SL 500 (2003). This is located on the passenger seat. I do use the rather large cupholder at times, but often, I would just like to store it and put the plug back in the lower part of the seat. Seems I lost the piece that was in there.
This part is pictured on page 185 of the SL manual. It's labeled #1.
I'd gladly buy this small piece of plastic somewhere but I can't find it on the internet.
Perhaps only a dealer can order it for me, but if someone can tell me what to order, I'd be most appreciative. My color is #201 Charcoal leather.
Thanks.

I too am missing this insert piece. I thoroughly reviewed Duval Mercedes online parts catalogue and couldn't identify it. Unfortunately Duval's parts site has been taken down.. the are still one of the lowest parts retailers that I've found, but I guess we'll have to come up with the part numbers on our own before calling them in the future.

Just a shot in the dark, but I have the plastic insert and the number on the back is 277477 ABS. Maybe this is the part #. Hope this helps.

Thanks. That's valuable info.
I'll call my dealer on Monday and order the part...if available.

I have my fingers crossed but I've found that most parts for these SL's will have the part number beginning with the car code of 230

Ordered the part today from my dealer. A little over $25.00 for that little, itty, bitty piece of triangular plastic.
What a profit!

No....that number did NOT work. The parts rep at the dealership said that that number wasn't a Benz number. I think that number ending in ABS referred to the plastic manufacturer. He used my VIN number and Model number to come up with the proper color and part. All I did was describe it to him over the phone, and he knew it well.

I tried that at the Syracuse dealer and they claimed it wasn't available. I'll be in Atlanta in 2 weeks so will try your approach at one of the 4 dealerships there. Thanks very much for the info.

Well I'm glad you got the part. I found that plastic part bouncing around my merc. I was wondering what it was for. Now I know.

GoCargo,
Just ask for Parts at this dealership. They will get it for you and probably just send it to you. Again, a little over $25 and delivery within 1 week.

It's taken off when you buy the Mercedes auxilliary cup holder. It's a big cupholder that is very stable and fits nicely into the hole under this "expensive" piece of plastic.
