Removing mid mufflers on r230 SL500 ?
Was given some insight by a tuner to remove mid mufflers on 03 SL500 and go to a straight pipe. This I was told will reduce back pressure resistance. My concern is potential noise level inside the SL. Does anyone have any exposure in this area? Please advise... Thanks

2011 SL550
Just had resonators removed @ Meineke and they did a great job. Lots of taking off obstructions took about 2 hours./ Exactly what I wanted. Low hub @ driving speeds but @ WOT really comes to life. I saw one reply that said it cost 60-80 $. Not in VA Beach. Labor 126. hr parts 43.68 total of $364.67 w/tax, but worth it. Frank 2011 SL550
