I'm trying to post pictures but it says ......

Inside out, my car has AMG printed on it ...
to bad you guys don't wanna teach me how to post pics ... so you can see for yourself ...
My car just arrived and I have the ALUMINIUM trim of the SL55 AMG on it and also the AMG blue lighting on the foot steps glowing and let me see .. oh the body and the tires ... the 4 exhausts .. Hmmmmmm .. except the engine and the SL55 printed on the back ... So what would you call this car? Too Bad the SL55 can't come with a wood trim on the steering wheel when the SL500 can :P

hehe..i'd call it Car_Lova's SL500...glad you like your car..must be nice..
you attach the files via the "Attach file" row when you're writing a reply in the forum...choose the file you want to attatch..and make sure its within the file size mb world allows you....if you, you'd have to downsize the file..
btw, the only cars i'd call AMG are the ones with the AMG engines+brakes :p

Guys, This subject has been tackled many times. If someone has a badge on their AMG modified car its their right to have it there because they paid an extra $20K to get those mods in Car_Lova's case I'd think she had to pay that much. In my case, I had to pay $6k to get it so only the exterior has AMG mods not the interior - but If I had any further mods I'd slap an ///AMG on it and not think twice about it cause then the only thing left is the engine and if I leave my badge like she did (SL500 ///AMG) she didn't change her car to SL55 then I think its her right to do so.

BTW, ppl tell me that the dealers made a mistake by placing the 500 instead of the 55 LooooooooL .. I had to explain to them that it wasn't a 55 engine ... but they were so conviened it was.. LoooL!
I know it's funny, but the car really looks like a 55 inside out! But if someone looks closely at the steering wheel, it has no touchtronic and it has the ash wood trim all over it!
Now that's a give away

Now this ash wood trim, will never be seen on an....
SL55 AMG........ but you can see it here on an SL500
P.S. MB company will never install any wood trim on an SL55 Steering wheel, because of the safety reasons. Maybe cuz of the touchtronic buttons!

The Exclusive Delta Blue leather is lighter than the standard Delta Blue ... it's not a designo... designo cars take for ever to arrive!!! I was told that when I was about to order my designo colors The car would have to arrive in FEB 2003 ... so that's why I settled for no Designo!

Yummy - Well some pics are done better than others - Exterior pics are not so great when compared to those interior ones - perhaps you could do the same thing you did with those interior pics so that they are cleaerer?

You know why I can't take the exterior pics ...
Cuz I took those pics while the car was sitting in the garage and there were 3 more cars parked next to it ... that's why I couldn't take any pics of the 4 exhaust and the tilte ..........
