My SL with Vellanos
So I sold the CLS 55 but kept the Vellanos and painted them Designo silver (and the grille the same). Here are a few photos.

i cant remember, but can you take off the lower grille from the inside? if you can they should be able to treat it then paint it. just heads up the stones and bugs will chip away at it so keep touch up paint handy.

im sure it looks like a different car to you and your admirer's! it looks great in that color. consider lowering the car too.

you can use the lowering links which are the least expensive but you would have to remove them if you have any suspension warranty issues. i use these.
you can try an lowering module but i dont know too much about it except it may cost around a grand.
and last there is star diagnostics which can lower your car. i dont know how much it will cost or how low you can go. try a search on it or some member who have done it may chime in.
