I just wanted to let everybody know that the first Black Series will be coming to our dealership for my client. It will be diamond white, which should be interesting. From what I've read this SLC black might not be as good of a road car as the CLK black. I don't even know why the call them CLK or SLC they don't have much in common with the original CLK or SL. Kind of like NASCAR running those cars that look like Chevys.

They better change that listing because someone could argue that it is for $120K and they would, IMO, have to sell it for that.

I just called the guy and told him of his mistake and within 5 minutes he corrected it. I also consulted with an ebay rep and they agreed that he would have had to have sold it for the listed $120K price.

I totally agree. I hate to offend those who love this thing, but I'd just soon have a regular SL65. I don't care for all of that chopped up bodywork and spoilers and all. Too busy for me!

Unfortunately (or fortunately), based on past history AMG's don't seem to hold their value very well. I am constantly offered sub 500 mi CLK BS cars for around $90-95K. That is more than a 30% drop in a few months, with only a few hundred miles on the clock. I would not be surprised to see $100K SL65 BS cars in a couple of years at most. A quick check of SL65 prices will show that car as a great performance car bargain... the BS will be an incredible one as well.

So drool..... it is a cool car, but one that should be affordable shortly. As for the wait.... none here. Just phone calls to see if I want it.
