You may not believe this, but I saw that exact car for sale (on the Corvette Forum, I think) and really liked it. I have a soft spot for 85 Corvettes as I have owned three, and have been on the lookout for one as well. I don't remember where that car was located, but as I recall it was pretty far from Texas. I even had the same thoughts about the exhaust and the radio!

@Robertpel99, nice find for that. For $5K, you definitely stole it as it appears in very nice condition. Even the darn engine bay is clean. By the way, what is that hanging out on the top of the valve covers? It looks kind of like a supercharger. Also, I've never seen an interior on the 80's models, so I almost laughed at how cheap it looks. No offense, but one can see that Chevy spent their money on engine and chassis rather than interior dressing. "Just slap up some rectangles in a bigger rectangle, please." Still a nice car though.

The thing on top of the engine is just the intake runners and bosch fuel injection system. It is an L98 engine which is a Tuned Port Injection car. No Turbo or anything like that

The interior are "interesting" to say the least. Actually i think the interiors in the 84-96 vettes are nice than the 97-04 vettes. Obviously none of them compare to our SL's
