2013 SL 550
I didn't cut any deals yet, but am thinking about it. The new SL really doesn't offer much anything new over my '07 SL 550 except for the air scarfs which are so cool looking, but other than that and maybe a 4GB hard drive and some extra plastic on the front fenders, that's it! I'm not so sure I like the new design better yet either, so I'm debating it, but excited! Was even thinking about getting a Range Rover Turbo because of all the snow we've been having here in NY lately, but I know I will most likely stick with the SL...
PS, who the $%CK is Fletcher Jones?

Pretty amazing deal. Does anyone know what dealers are giving for discounts on '09 SLs right now? Based on the advertised pmt ($1,179), down payment ($6,973), the current advertised money factor/resid % (0.00395 and 38%), and the MSRP provided ($104,425), the dealer is unloading the car at about $22,500 off sticker. That's a shload. I wonder if there's some other catch?

No, the residual is still the same, 49% for 36 months, it's 42% for 48 months, what they did though was put down the money factor to .00061 or 1.464% interest which is why the car is so cheap! So far, the best deal I got offered was $500.00 below invoice price, so $1180/month with first payment, bank fee and inspection fee or whatever it's called up front which is around $3100.00. Gas guzzler is included in the price of the car.
Can anyone get better?

Yeah, it's 1285 per month, taxes up front for 48 months, so you need 7K down and then that's the payment. My problem is that I have a 2007 model and I'm way over the miles right now, say $3500 worth and they won't do anything to help me with this. Does anyone know how to get out of the mileage? I feel like shelling out 10K for a 2009 model for 48 months when there is not much difference is not the way to go right now. Let me know what you think.
