SL/R230: B Service Worries
I was being a little cheap with my 05 SL500 which has about 23,000 miles. The B service indicator came on, and I decided to take to a "European Specialist" garage as they were only charging 200 bucks for the B service. Anyway, I got home to find out my tire pressures are now all out of whack. Also, doesn't look like they changed the air filter (I only know cause they didn't bill me). Anyway, they put synthetic 5W40 in my car.
Couple of questions:
Is the oil they used ok?
Can I change the air filters myself? I'm not very mechanically inclined, so is this easy?

Thanks for your help.
It's very easy to change the air filter yourself. The biggest risk is dropping the screws into the engine compartment after you remove them.
