I got their top pkg, no deductible. They have been great. I goto MB dealer for work and end up paying alittle as I think MB charges more than national average and what they allow. But INDS has always worked with MB and myself and all parties leave happy. Good luck.

I've done search as well, one issue is some info is up to date others is not. Although I agree this question is repeated its good to hear up to date stories of which company may be better currently.

I'm in the same boat to come March '10, so I'll be researching as well.

Just an FYI..

When shopping around for a third party warranty, make sure to ask if what is the maximum hourly labor charge the warranty covers. From my experience very few if any, will agree to dealership hourly charges.

Most 3rd party max out at $50.00/per hour. This is substantially lower than $125 which dealers charge. The difference would out of your pocket, and this can amount to a lot of $$$$ in the long run, if you car will be fixed routinely.

there are literally hundreds of 3rd party companies out there. But key thing is to your homework. I got Millennium Automotive Platinum coverage (everything covered) from the indy dealer when i bought my car. Dealer sold Benz, Ferraris, Porsches, so he would only sell the best warranty possible to keep his clients happy. I asked MB service advisors about this one, and they said this was one of the top in the country. I have had two ABC related issues, and warranty came through both times work done at MB dealership.

I paid 4500 for 100,000miles or 2012, and it had paid for itself.

I work at a Lexus dealership and I believe we offer Ryan warranties, and depending on the year you can probably get 4yr 50k warranty for a fairly reasonable price, I'll check what it does and doesn't cover.

it looks like our warranties cover the system but not the shock itself, I'm trying to get some confirmation on this before I go advertising it to everyone, but it should be cheaper than 5k by quite a bit

Looks like at this point iam leaning towards Warranty Direct (INDS) or chrysler service contracts. Checked BBB on warranty direct and it was A+. Millenium was F. Any other input or recomendations would be great.

Inds covets my entire rear driver strut. I paid about 250$ due to labor time dispute. It was a 4200 or 4700$ bill cdn. So 200-300 out of pocket is fine. Great compnay to me so far.
Paid under 4k for the warranty with tax cdn$$. So a good investment on my part..... The sl500 was a poor investment! Lol. But ya it was. i regret it 110% a dealer offered me 23k cdn on a trade in!! What a joke. I'm stuck with it. Just keep sinking $. Sl500 is worse $ pit than a boat.

I think you got the wrong company when researching, but Millenium is not ranked w/ an 'F' as u state.

See here

http://www.bbb.org/oklahoma-city/bus...ty-ok-90005802

Millennium are the authorized Smart Car OEM warranty company

I ended up going with a Fidelity Platinum Warranty. 6yr/60,000 miles with $0 Deductible for $2,363 (2005 SL500 w/ 17,000 miles).
