New Member here just wanting to say what up!
Hey everyone, new to the forums here and i just picked up a 05 SL 500. Let me say its one hell of a car! I know a 2005 is kinda OLD but its CPO so thats the good thing. I'm from LA and wanted to know if u guys know of a place that i can buy a AMG front bumper & tailights? Unfortunately my car didn't have the AMG package =(. I look forward on learning from this site as i did from bimmerpost.

Welcome and congrats on the new car. You might be able to find the bumper/parts in the classifieds. I saw a couple of threads in the regarding the front bumper, not sure if their sold or not tho. you can also try ebay

Thanks for the reply guys. Yeah i been looking at the classifieds. But my question is this what do i need if i wanted the AMG front bumper? Are there any difference between the 08 amg bumpers or sl55 sl 65? I read that i needed more then just the front bumper itself. Also is amgkit.com legit? all OEM mbz products?

I never used amgkit.com before, but as expensive as they are I hope they are legit. 07-08 amg bumper have the newer design, look at my sig pic it has the newer 08 bumper. If you go with the 03-06 amg bumper I think all you will need is the 3 lower mesh grilles, fog lights and fog light brackets. you might need other parts. For the 08 bumper you will need the grille, 3 lower mesh grilles, bumper lights, 3 styrofoam impact absorbers, and a couple other brackets and hardware.
