What parts do i need for a 03-06 AMG bumper.
I have a 05 SL 500, i wanted to know what parts would i need if i wanted to change the front & rear bumper to a AMG bumper? I also don't have parktronic too.

You had better check with your dealer or a body shop that has performed the conversion. It is very possible that you will need some pieces that are not visible; under bumper reinforcements, panels behind the bumper, exhaust on the rear to accomodate the AMG twin exhaust outlets. I did a replacement to the '08SL65/SL55 performance package on my SL55 and it required 38 different parts for the front bumper alone.

I have a question to ask. So i called up the dealer today & asked them what would i need to change my front bumper to an AMG. They told me that when they typed in my VIN # that they dont have a amg bumper for SL500. She said the only amg bumper is on the sl55amg. So she told me that she doesn't know if its gonna work. I'm just like WTH it could So she just typed in the 03-06 SL55AMG chassis code and the bumper comes on there and blah blah. So my question to you is that can u give me all the parts # that i would need to change my 05SL500 to a AMG front bumper. Thanks!

give them this vin number WDBSK74F74F071806 its for a 04 sl55. the lady doesn't know much, some sl500's like mine come with the amg package from factory.
