New Mufflers, new rear diffuser and new spoiler
So I decided to upgrade my car. Given it is a SL 550 Silver arrow edition, there wasnt much to do. So I put in some SL 63 parts. The rear bumper is the same as the SL 63 so the diffuser from the SL 63 snapped right on as did the AMG spoiler (taped on). The tailpipes were a differrent story. I tried a couple of german company fake tips but none fit the new SL 550 as the exhaust had changed. So I decided to purchase two AMG SL 63 mufflers. The tubing is wider but the mufflers fit nice and snug and see the picture to see what you think. No, I am not going to add an AMG badge, I love my SL 550 and with the new mufflers the sound is spectacular, it has a deeper growl to it. enjoy, i know i will. Yes all the parts are genuine mercedes OEM.

2009 Sl550 Silver Arrow
I just purchased a Silver Arrow Edition myself. I love this car but wish it had the AMG exhaust as I love the sound. Looks great. Can you post a short video as i am curious how is sounds compared to the SL63.

Sound -
as for sound, it sounds deeper but not as deep as the SL63. But you will love the unique sound these muffler give it.

Where did you buy the genuine parts, MB dealer ?.
