I was looking to get an after market warranty on my 06 SL600, dealer had one, then said the guidelines changed and no longer available to purchase then offered me a 2 year or up to 100,000 mile MB warranty for $6,600 plus tax.

Anyone have any recommendations on a good warranty option at a more reasonable price?

There are many, many posts on this already. I will tell you that being a 600 you will have a much harder time with many fewer choices.

There are quite a few posts on aftermarket warranty, but the big aftermarket players are mostly Chrysler, EasyCare, and Fidelity. I would shop them and determine which one works best for your situation. For what it's worth, if you have one big repair, that $6K MB warranty will pay for itself.

i have Fidelity's "Plantinum" Warranty. So far so good.
