Third brake light
2005 SL500 my trunk 3rd brake light is cracked and falling out. I have a new one to put in ..anyone know how to get that trunk lid lining off. I think thats the only way to go about replacing it.. right??

The lining does have to be removed. I did mine without advice but shortly after someone posted either on this forum or the SL55/SL65 forum a better and easier way of doing it. Do a search on either of the two and you should find informative instructions.
