The first diffuser is done! and ready to ship. Yesterday I held it up to an SL550 sport. Everything seemed to line up perfect. But I will be sending it to member Carne57 today to test fit it for us and wait for the feedback from the install. I will probably be sending it via overnight, so we wont be waiting long.

Rear diffuser
Hi Adam and all,
I still have one last rear diffuser from this special production run. It's in the box in my garage. I'm not 100% sure that I want to sell, haven't driven the car in a few years and am considering doing a front to back mod on the car, or trading it's garage space for a 996 Turbo. That said, if anyone is interested in the diffuser let me know and I can advise soon... The installed unit still looks great.

You can keep your stock exhaust, doesn't have to be dual. I had these made for a group of 10, one time run, mold not to be used again. I don't know that anyone makes them in regular production.

I've installed the quad tip exhaust tips that I previously posted the link for as some of you had requested. The tips are on and look really good. I used Sebring cans as well replacing the stock mufflers so I don't know for sure how well they would work with stock mufflers, but believe they may fit with a bit of work by a good exhaust person. The problem is the outlet is offset from center creating the need for an "S"shaped pipe before the tips to bring the outlet pipe to center. No body cutting was done for these tips!

Attached are some pics of the tips, not the best pics, taken with my iphone but should show that they fit well with plenty of room. FYI, the Sebring cans give the car a very aggressive sound, louder than stock, but not too loud by my estimation, though you will get some looks for sure...

2009 SL550 Seeking CF diffuser
I have spoken to Neal at Euroteck and he has agreed to create a rear Carbon Fiber Diffuser for the R230 SL500 with the OEM AMG Sports Package body. We need 10 orders, pre-paid before production in order to proceed. Cost is estimated around $700.00. The part will be an insert, or direct bolt on. No modification or cutting will be needed. It will be similar to a stock model, but can be modified in R&D if we decide to tweak it a bit.
Send me a PM if interested, or put me in contact with anyone who may be. Also if you have any local shops that might be interested in picking one up for stock. I would imagine that if we can get more than ten orders we can look for a reduced cost.
