RENNtech New SL Rear Decklid Spoiler-Pics
RENNtech is proud to introduce this sporty yet elegant rear decklid spoiler for the SL-Class. The images show the prototype ABS plastic part which is a great representation of our final design; however the finished product will be an extremely high quality Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber piece. Pre-preg is widely known as the finest process in carbon fiber manufacturing which has been used for aerospace and military applications because of its superior consistency in weight, thickness, fitment, resin, carbon layout, and overall quality. This process also features a much higher quality aesthetic than both the wet lay up and infusion processes. The spoiler will fit any SL-Class from 2003 to 2011 and will be in production within approximately six weeks.
RENNtech SL spoiler - MSRP $1,860
*Please add an additional $250 for final UV protective coating in a gloss or matte finish.

Really well designed, it matches the bumper lines perfectly. Not sure i'd spend almost 2k for it though.
Maybe a plastic version like your prototype for people that will have it painted and don't care about the carbon fiber?

I like the look of it, but I'm with Late, 1860 for a stick on spoiler sounds pretty ridiculous, especially if you are going to gouge someone for another 250 to make sure it doesn't fade from sunlight

there any chance you are going to build an affordable version of this thing? I would be happy with a slightly cheaper version of a carbon spoiler, I don't need something to go to outer space, just something to go on my trunk lid, look good, and not fall off at speeds up to around 150
