Service B costs???

Just want to see if I am being ripped off or this is normal....
SL550 (08) 38,000 miles.

TS Filter IN $21.00
Oil $40.00
ZMak Service Menu Kit. $37.00 (whats this?)
TS Air Filter $65.00
Filter $50.00(parts no. 230 830 04 18) I have given this parts no. as whats with all these Filters mentioned?

plus some other small items..Labor $236.00. Parts. $218.00... Total $454.95.

Misc Shop Supplies and/or Hazardous Waste...another (BS) $40.00!!

I had 4 Tires installed, including weights $210.00. Surely thats on the high side??(incl in this price is $10.00 disposal fee). What would a High Street well known vendor charge? 19" Hankooks.

Anyway, total for the above came to $746.65. I know that some will say that I have a 100K plus car so stop griping. Fine, if its a reasonable figure, if not and its way out, I need to go elsewhere.

Service A is less than half the price. Why is this?

Thx.

$210 for 4 new tires is a bargain. I've paid close to $200 EACH for tires on other cars. And many regular cars (like my Mazda6) they want around $500 for a major service and $300 for a minor service. So, I would say the price was reasonable.

For what tires cost to install, check TireRack.com .. Installers

It will vary from $150 to $250.

Service A takes half the labor.

The hazardous waste disposal seems odd.

A Service is basically an oil & filter change. I've done my own and spent over $125.00 on oil and filters. I have a top-side oil extractor like they use at the dealerships ($180.00). For the $100 - $125 in labor, I'd prefer to let the dealer do it. The B service usually goes well beyond what is serviced on the A schedule.
