I have also think to do that.... + change the secondary OEM cats to 200Cell cats.
I wonder how much those OEM muffler weight?

They really don't weigh that much. I did it more for the "proper" sound.

SL600's don't have Resonators, you removed factory Mufflers (they weigh about 15 lbs ea from memory) Also SL600's don't have 4 cats like other models, instead they run 1 giant
Pair mounted directly behind Turbo's (remove them too)

Resonators, mufflers, whatever they are is all that it has and they are all the way in the back with the outlet tips. You are correct also that it only has 2 cats.

Okay... I'm litle confused.... I have asked for an straight pipe offer + 200 Cell cats + tailpipes from Germany.
This workshop owner have also an SL600.
I have also told him that my opinnion is that SL600 have only one cats....
He answer me following :
I have my self an SL600 Bi Turbo and I have 2 front cats and two back cats!!!
But some customers bot know that the back are cats, they think they are normal exhaust!!!

Maybe USA and Europe have different exhaust systems...
Or he mean the rear mufflers is secondary cats??
So I don't need secondary cats only change the first ones to cel 200...
I'm going to find out what is the truth about this.
